Community Guidelines
Version 1.0 · Effective 8/1/2026
1. Purpose
BA Prism's community exists to help Business Analysis professionals learn from one another, share experience, and grow together. These Community Guidelines set out how we expect members to behave so the community remains welcoming, professional and valuable for everyone. They form part of our Terms of Service.
2. Our Values
Respect: treat every member with courtesy, regardless of experience level, background or opinion.
Practicality: share knowledge that is genuinely useful to fellow Business Analysis professionals.
Honesty: represent your experience and qualifications accurately.
Collaboration: support other learners as you would want to be supported.
3. Expected Behaviour
Keep discussions relevant to Business Analysis, professional development, and the BA Prism platform.
Give constructive, specific feedback when commenting on others' work or questions.
Credit sources when sharing frameworks, articles or material that is not your own.
Respect the confidentiality of your employer and clients; do not share confidential or sensitive business information.
Report content or behaviour that breaches these guidelines rather than engaging in public conflict.
4. Prohibited Behaviour
The following will not be tolerated in any BA Prism community space:
Harassment, bullying, or targeted personal attacks;
Hate speech or discriminatory remarks relating to race, gender, religion, disability, sexual orientation, age or any other protected characteristic;
Sharing of another member's personal information without consent;
Spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotion of unrelated products and services;
Sharing of BA Prism Content outside the platform, including screenshots of course material;
Impersonation of BA Prism staff, tutors, or other members;
Any illegal activity or content.
5. Content Sharing Rules
Members may share their own insights, questions and non-confidential work examples. Members must not share BA Prism course videos, workbooks, templates or other Content outside the platform, in line with our Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy.
6. Moderation and Enforcement
BA Prism moderates community spaces to uphold these guidelines. Depending on the severity and frequency of a breach, we may:
Remove the content in question;
Issue a warning to the member concerned;
Temporarily restrict a member's access to community features;
Suspend or terminate the member's account in serious or repeated cases.
7. Reporting a Concern
If you see content or behaviour that breaches these guidelines, please use the in-platform reporting tool or contact projects@eccellenzaconsulting.co.uk.
Reports are reviewed confidentially, and we will not disclose the identity of the reporting member without their consent, except where required by law.
8. Appeals
If your content is removed or your access is restricted, you may appeal the decision by emailing support@baprism.co.uk within 14 days, explaining why you believe the action was taken in error. Appeals are reviewed by a member of staff who was not involved in the original decision, where reasonably practicable.
